General Discussion / Rumours are true
« on: February 02, 2014, 10:10:28 AM »
I just wanted to let you all know that if you heard a rumour  that I'm moving its true.

We put our house on the market last week and are heading to Barrie in June.
It's a work move for me...to go further in the OPP I need to be in the Orillia area  :(

I would really like to take a moment to thank everyone in KRCM for welcoming me back to the world of RC.
The last few years have been great. I fully plan on being back for most events, especially the Giant Scale rally.

So.......does anyone know of a decent club in the Barrie/Orillia area?  ;D

If you have a few minutes take a look at this video.
Everything on this jet is hand made, including the jet engine!!!
All maching is done by hand as well, no CNC at all

General Discussion / CDI for gas engine
« on: August 10, 2013, 05:26:35 PM »
Well, I've narrowed down the issue with my motor to a faulty CDI
Good news - someone is bringing one to the Giant Scale meet for me :)
Bad news - I wont be able to fly my MSX-R till after then.

Does anyone have a spare CDI for a gas motor I could borrow so I can try to get my plane maidened before then?
It's for a DLA56, as long as its for a CM6 plug is should work fine (I think)
If I can get the plane maidened I can fly it next weekend :)

This is the place to try to organize a posse and get out flying.

We will try to post any updates regarding snow-plowing.
