This plane has been only flown a half dozen times and has had no crashes or hard landings. Just not my type of airplane. It comes complete with 9 servos, retracts, brushless motor and 65 amp speed control. I also have a new spare spinner and propeller for it. Just add a receiver and 4s,3000 lipoly to get it in the air. Great Planes price is $410 plus taxes plus $30 for the spare prop and spinner. I am asking $250.

A recent aerial pic of our field... note our classy new steel storage container in the upper left ! :)

Hi Ian; Great picture. I take it from the picture that you are getting ready to post an update for the flight simulator?

Can't figure out why there's nothing here on the warbird outstanding success. Rene and his helpers deserve great credit for the outstanding job they did. I believe there were 30 + members registered with more than 60 planes. Can somebody at least put some pictures up?

Couldn't agree more Gord. This was the first warbirds event I have been able to attend and was very impressed with the turnout and the quality of the planes. Thanks for sure go to Rene, Natalie and their helpers. I think we are going to see this grow every year.

I can't believe that this is coming from a diehard glow man who said he would never go electric. I think poor Gary must be on the verge of a nervous breakdown or soon will be with all the hassle and harassment he will have to put up with when we see him arrive at the field with a large elecric. He is already on his way wth his electric glider. Seems he spends all his time now staring up inthe sky in his easy boy chair drooling over the magic of electric flight. No noise and oily mess to clean up at the end of the day.

Hi Reg;

If your servos also will not respond I would suspect that you may have lost the bind between your TX and RX. Try rebinding and see what happens.

I have made changes to the write up to try and standardize with the numbering of the control pin configurations. If you plan on doing the modifications yourself be sure that yo don't get confused between the writeu ps. I will have the first revision removed from the forum.

Another of Gords wierd and wonderful planes(well maybe) There is a plane on another website called the Crazyball, Google it. In my book, in the videos it didn't fly very well, so here is my modified version  to make a performer out of the idea. It's two 20 in. discs perpendicular to one another. Needs much bigger control surfaces with lots of throw because of the slow speed characteristics. Pics tomorrow. This is just a break from rebuilding this electrified 1/3 rd scale foam Christen Eagle. Maybe I should do a bit on that one too. Wadya think?? ;D
How about bringing it to the meeting tomorrow night.
