I saw this as a teenager, on the on Jack Parr show, the predecessor of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. My buddy and I pretty much bought the story, but were a bit doubtful. We had a set of Encyclopaedia Britannica and we immediately started digging in to learn more! Ah, simpler times  ;D

BTW, we were not the only ones. If you follow the whole video, you will see some amazing things in the aftermath of the broadcast.

There was never more than 3 people at the club today so we could keep lots of distance from eachother. Even in the air, no midairs today

Terry, Not sure where they come from but have heard of them arriving to the mainland on large vehicle carrying vessels.
